Pernahkah kau merasa hatimu kosong

You know, sometimes I just wonder why I never did wore out a certain piece of item as often as I did for the others. I thrifted this leaves printed dress years ago and have only worn it once, way back when I had a bob hair. I kind of wish that it reaches my ankle but then again, I'm happy with it for there's plenty of room for me to stretch my legs. In case you are wondering what I'm jabbering about, I was talking about bowling. I kid you not. I bowled in this dress today. And I reckon I must have been a pretty funny sight wearing bowling shoes with this dress. It's like "Ok nice dress." And then when you look down at my feet, "OMG Ronald Macdonald's shoes!"

Selamat hari jadi didi

It's my guy's birthday today.
Yes, our birthdays are just five days apart : )
The best part about our birthday celebrations this year is that we got to celebrate it with his niece. She's definitely one of the most adorable babies I have ever seen. Chubby round cheeks with big, big eyes and a tiny tooth emerging from her lower gums. She's just too cute. Anyway, my knee still hurts from my birthday hike so I opted for my vintage Adidas hi-tops instead. I bought it over two years ago but I never did wear them out until today. And oh, thank you to all who wished me happy birthday :D

Nana (My guy's sister-in law): Wow. Never thought I would see you wearing sneakers.
Me: Heh. There's always a first.
Nana: What has gotten into you anyway?
Me: Nah. It's just the knee. It hurts like heck.

Panjang umurnya setahun riang

*
It's my birthday today. Another birthday, yet another year older. And my close ones should really start telling me where they are bringing me to, to celebrate my birthday. Before I met the rest, my guy took me hiking. Here's the best part, I had on my 5 inch heels and a butterfly dress. Needless to say, once I was back down, I limped and limped. And when the gang surprised me with a huge bowl of melted ice-cream, I teared. Tears of pain and joy combined. Thank you, you, for making my birthday a memorable one.

Kini kau hadir ku sudah jera

*
Over here where I live, it's practically summer all year long. However nowadays, the humidity level is just overwhelming. I would find myself perspiring every now and then. To top that, a bottle of water can no longer suffice. Now, I need a bottle of mineral water and another bottle of cold drink to quench the thirst. And since I prefer to carry sling bags these days, I would find myself walking while holding the two bottles in each hand.

Bulan bintang lampu alam

A lazy day calls for a lazy ensemble. Today, I finally re-wear this denim jacket that my dad got me when I was ten years old. It still fits well but has that cupboard smell. Tsk.
