Kepadamu kekasih aku berserah

To all my fellow islanders, I wish you a Happy National Day!
Being the patriotic me, ahem, I wore navy and black. Heh. But I have to give it to my guy's brother and his wife for they were all donned in our flag's red and white. Anyway, how did you spend our nation's 44th birthday? Did any of you actually joined in the pledge at 8.22pm? Well I did, much to my guy's amusement. And allow me to add that I was at Changi Village hawker centre when I recited the pledge. Uhuh. But I did it discretely of course. Tsk.

My guy's sister-in-law: Are you ditching your heels?
Me: Well I figured since I'll be carrying your daughter a lot,
I might as well skip them.
My guy's sister-in-law: Aww.. What a good babysitter!
p/s: Totally random but I loathe it when my fringe is out of place.

Bukan kerna intan permata, kerna budi bahasa

I have never wash my clothes using the washing machine for I always prefer to hand wash each and every one of them. By hand wash I mean soaking them in the pails, brushing them dirts and rinsing them off with my two bare hands. So imagine my horror when my mum accidentally stashed this dress into the washing machine! Somehow, the colour on one of the clothes bled and run and as a result, my poor dress got stained! So now I have added blotches of stains on my ruffles. Ah well. I walked around today pretending that the blotches were part of the dress design. But I guess it was soo obvious that my guy, who was the first one I met, instantaneously made a remark on it. Mm. I supposed its time to get them dyed. Oh well. At least I have new shoes on.
