Velvet tartan and woven basket

Last weekend my entire family went on a road trip to Malacca, Malaysia. The drive there took several hours so of course we had a stopover. Our stopover was Machap and it was there that I saw this woven basket. The store had many art crafts; all of which are handmade, woven and wooden. These baskets themselves came in various shapes, patterns and colours. Well I did not have any Malaysian ringgit with me but it was too pretty for me to pass it off. Thankfully my dad was kind enough to purchase them for me. And thank my mum too for she haggle the price down. Now I wish I had gotten the round shaped one as well. Oh well. My dad goes there pretty often because my huge extended family owns and runs a sheep farm there. Maybe I should ask him to get me the other shape one as well.

Granny's floral top

Nowadays I can’t get enough of wearing skirts. This denim high-waist has been worn to death for the last couple of days. If it had a mouth and could talk, it probably would tell me that it needs a break (from my ass and whatnot). I think it’s high time that I send all my skirts for alteration. It bugs me that they do not fit well and for that, I can’t wear them out. Anyway, I suddenly feel arty these days. I plan on going Spotlight soon to purchase some arts stuffs. And no, don’t get your hopes up high. It has been long since I played with fabric paints, beads and buttons.

I found this dress but have yet to decide whether to purchase it or not. The smallest size they have looks rather huge on me, especially the sleeves. Therefore I am still contemplating.
