Where we are heading to or where we are at does not matter. What truly matters is the individuals that we surround ourselves with. My guy made me realised that it does not matter whether we are dining at a fancy restaurant or at a fast food joint. As long as we have each other by our side, and that we enjoy each other's company, we will most definitely have a good time.

Music to my ears

I am tagged by Fashionable Obsessions and now I am to reveal some songs that I like. So below is my take on seven songs for summer. Well not necessarily for summer but they are definitely songs that will lift my spirits up and to which I could listen to repeatedly. Listed in alphabetical order:

Just throw me any songs from the above artists and I would be as happy as a child receiving her first teddy bear. And as much as I try to like the songs that are always receiving airplays either on MTV or the radio, I can't. Apparently songs about sex and the likes aren't what I fancy.

The one with his birthday

The planned surprise for my guy's birthday was a bittersweet moment. In our hearts of hearts, we both knew that this would probably be the last outing we have together, as a group of eight. May the moments we shared together lingers and may us remain friends till the end. To my guy, happy birthday you.

The one with the birthday

So I turn a year older today. For many, they refer to this age as "the key". Well the key to the unknown I would say. At the end of the day, I just felt blessed and loved. Although I did not get to wear my intended birthday outfit, spending the day cycling around, posing for six different cameras, and eating massive loads of sugary treats sure made up for that. Nothing beats being surrounded by the people whom you love, and whom loves you back.

The picnic story

We finally went on a picnic today. It was turkey ham and chicken poloni mushroom, sandwiched in the middle of a wholemeal bread. We took a massive amount of pictures, we walked and we jumped around. Sweating all over. It was like being five years old again. What happiness. Before we knew it, the sun was already setting. It was time for us to go.

Of the many vintage bags
