A few have requested that I do a post on the shopping places in Singapore. So here goes. I personally think that the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) is the most convenient transportation around.
*
First stop, MRT station: Bugis.
First destination: Bugis Street (Village)
Many shops are retailing their clothings for SGD$10. For some shops, you can even haggle down the prices.

The cons: It can get really stuffy, hot and humid there. So dress lightly.
Second destination: Bugis Junction
Expect to see Topshop, Dorothy Perkins and the likes here.
The cons: It's pretty much a typical shopping centre.
*
Third destination: Sungei Road (Thieves Market)
If you've got a pair of eagle's eyes, you can get some neat vintage stuffs here.
The cons: It's a flea market. So don't expect to see the items on sale to be neatly displayed.
*
Second stop, MRT station: Orchard.
First destination: Far East Plaza
Expect to see many local brands here. To boot, prices are affordable.
The cons: As there are food stalls on the top floor, your hair will pretty much reak of oil after you step out of the building.

*
Second and third destinations: Wisma Atria and Lido
Expect to see Forever21, Gap, and local brands here.
The cons: Pretty much like any other shopping centre.
Third stop, MRT station: Somerset.
Destinations: The Heerens and Cineleisure
Clothes and shoes and what nots are here.
The cons: I doubt you can find any budget shopping here.
*
Fourth stop, MRT station: Harbourfront.
Destination: Vivo City
The only budget shopping is over on the top floor at a Japenese brand called Daiso. Here, everything retails at SGD$2.
The cons: If Forever21, Tods, River Island, Warehouse and the likes are your kind of brands, then Vivo City is your place to go.
Of course there's other places to shop at but above are just some of the few places that I frequent. And oh. Someone requested that I do a post on the shopping places in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Well I would definitely head down to Monorail station: Bukit Bintang. There, do visit the Sungei Wang Plaza. That shopping centre is so huge that I actually got lost there. Apart from that, Lot 10, Berjaya Times Square and Suria KLCC isnt' that bad either. And if you're looking for knock-offs handbags and such, head over to Petaling Street.
p/s: Should any of you have other places to shop at, do comment. Well I certainly hope this post was helpful :D
