When I'm late and hardly have time to doll up, dresses become my safest bet. An example would be today where I hurriedly put on my brown wool dress and grabbed whatever accessories that might match it. I clinched the belt around the dress and I brought along my late grandmother's selimpang as well. Just in case. I thought.
Dress: Bugis Junction
Shawl: Pashmina
Bag: Seed
Shoes: Bugis Village
Belt: Flea Market
Bangle: Aries
Class ended early today so my guy and I headed to town. That's when I ditched the belt for the selimpang. To make the selimpang's length shorter than that of the dress, I had to twist it numerous times around the centre.
I guess that tiny brooch could not handle that much twisting as it dropped off while I was walking. That had me back at square one; as now I would have to twist and turn the selimpang again. I didn't want to wait until I get to the toilet so I adjusted my selimpang there and then, in the middle of the busy street of Orchard. My guy, seeing that I was struggling, offered to help. After some "wrapping", I love how it turned out! According to him, I look like a butterfly :D
