I went to Fash Bash today and I wasn't impress. The sign guiding us to the place was misleading. We went around and around the building, searching for the place. To make matters worse, we were partially drenched by the heavy rain. Anyway, I didn't expect the place to be exceptionally small and cluttered. Never mind that they had some pretty nice vintage clothings, their prices were extremely pricey though. $179 for a 70's vintage dress. What?! I would rather buy one online on Ebay. Anyway, I had my eyes on this shiny pair of white and black jazz shoe. Even though I can afford it, I thought it's really ridiculous to fork out $210. Then there was the Anya Hindmarch "I'm not a plastic bag" bag. I heard the salesperson mentioning to this group of girls that each costs $49 after being discounted by 10%. The girls passed it off and I was soo glad they did. Pretending I didn't hear what she told the girls, I asked for the price. $49. They came in two colours; blue and grey. Again, pretending as if I didn't know which is which, I asked which one was UK version and which was US version. She said both were UK version. I cringed. Literally. But at least she was honest enough to tell me those two bags aren't authentic. Lucky me, I nearly spent $49 on a knock off. In case you were wondering, no, I didn't purchase a thing at all. I'm sticking to thrifting.
