Nu Rave and Vintage

I am sure many of us have seen Marykate Olsen donning the "Frankie Says Relax" t-shirt. Now, Flesh Imp has came up with something similar - "
Flesh Imp Says Relax". Now now. Why would they do that? In my opinion that's just tacky. Had they came up with their own lines, I might consider buying one. But then again, why buy when you can make one? Lalaliu shows you how and goodness... how I which I can steal that shirt of hers!

If I'm not wrong, January this year, Topshop launched the POP collection where words on shirts are printed in fluoro colours. It's been ages since I walked into Topshop so when I went in today, I saw the POP collection, "Punks Out, Rave In", "I Hate Nu Rave", the list goes on. Not forgetting them coloured denims, fluoro suspenders and belts. Earlier on I went to Bugis Junction and Town and I managed to snap some pictures of the growing Nu Rave scene here. Heck, we even bump into a group of guys in red, lime green and neon blue jeans! Oh brother. On another note, I purchased a red wayfarers today. I was soo thrilled to have found it but that happy feeling soon turned to irritation, as I found the exact same pair later on during the day at $10 cheaper. Needless to say I cursed non-stop afterwards at the shop for charging me more. Better luck next time I guess.

Dress: Hand-me-downs/ Vintage (My mum's) (The dress is maroon. Here's the black version)
Bag: Philippe Charriol
Sandal: Sugar, City Square
Belt: Flea Market
Necklace: DIY

I really like the t-shirt with those Transformers in neon shades.

Oppt Shop is a vintage store. In my opinion, majority of the items are overpriced. Didn't I mention before that vintage shopping here is really expensive?

Wayfarers: Dhoby Ghaut

FYI: The pictures' quality are due to the fact that I snap them straight off the handphone's screen. I will put up better pictures once my guy uploads them.
